HH Shaikh Nasser to lead Royal Endurance Team at Montalcino international endurance championship

HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Royal Endurance Team Captain, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, will lead the team at the Montalcino international endurance championship, to be held on Friday and Saturday in the Italian city of Montalcino.

HH Shaikh Nasser will compete in the 160-km race, while the other team riders will take part in the 120-km race for the public, the 120-race for juniors and the 100-km race.

On the occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser said that the Royal Endurance Team’s participation in European events consolidates the status of the Bahraini endurance sport which enjoys the interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

HH Shaikh Nasser indicated that the Montalcino international endurance championship will provide a new opportunity for the Royal Endurance Team to showcase its distinguished performance and attain more achievements at international gatherings, following its success in claiming the 160-km and 120-km titles at the Royal Windsor Horse Show 2022.

HH Shaikh Nasser wished the Royal Endurance Team riders every success in the Montalcino international endurance championship in which riders from Italy, Argentina and Spain will also participate.
